Ive always been passionate about photography and studied art photography at College. I’m very much a people’s person and it’s fantastic to be able to combine this with my creative skills.
I love weddings, everything about them, from my own to now capturing excited Brides and nervous Grooms on their own special day. From the frantic buzz of getting ready, to the Brides anticipation as she is about to walk down the isle. The joy, the laughter, and sometime even the tears are all saved forever by the photographs I’ve taken. I love what I do.
My style is traditional, with a modern feel and but it can also be modern with a fun twist, it really depends on the couple.
I like to meet with the Bride Groom at least twice, including once at the venue where they will get married. It gives me a real feel for what they like and I find this gets the best photos on the day.
I believe one of the most important elements of a wedding photographer is to have the ability to communicate well. Not everyone likes getting their photo taken and I try to put all the guests, from the Great Auntie to the little Page boy, at ease and know they’re an important part of the day.
