I have been shooting award-winning wedding images for 32 years. My style of wedding photography is traditional, with a twist that is achieved through good posing, choosing the right background for the pose and finally finishing the image off with a great expression. There are two parts of photographing a wedding that I particularly love: firstly, having time to do the romantic and intimate shots that couples adore, and also taking various group shots as I love having the opportunity to make the guests smile, capturing all the fun expressions in the final result -this is always a very popular shot for the couple album. What sets me apart, as a professional, in what I do is my ability to spot a great background for the wedding photographs (often in the most unlikely of situations!) and place the couple within it to create a striking image. When I take my shot I know from the start what the outcome will be, regardless of the weather conditions.
